i bought the car in 2005 from an old guy across the street for 900 bucks, she had slipped clutch and bald tires

i brought her home and just fell in love with it, i was only 15 at the time so i really didnt have any money lol when i turned 16 had finaly saved up some money and just got my license so i replaced the clutch and tires and began to experiment with drifting well one day i blew up my motor and didnt drive her for a year and long story short i blew up another two motors and actually began to build her up, so far this is what i have done

lol my car comes along with a funny storyy too, i was looking at a car in san diego, a 94 hatch and me and my dad were gonna go check it out and maybe get it, well turns out this old dude across the way was sellin his for 1500. i go with a mechanic friend and my dad and we tell him all this shit thats wrong with the car and javier the mechanic convices him that 1500 was way to much with all the stuff thats broke on the car, which were the clutch, blown suspension, bald tires and cracked dash and windshield. so he drops it to 1000 and my dad tells him that i only saved up 800 bucks and the old dude says "900" and we drive off happy and when i pull into the drive way the clutch dies. the end. haha the funny thing too the old guy had tanabe sustec pro coilovers in front and it was slammed hah ill try and find a pic of her when i first broght her home.

I have a set of those on my '96. Be prepared to replace your pads more often though as they seem to wear out a little faster

update:

changed the oil, running royal purps ftw 5w 30
just installed a techtom cmx-100 gauge for some engine management
and this week i should have a autopower roll cage in ftmfw
ill post pics later

got the cage in and its purple, i got some sweet headlights cuz i hate mine lol im thinking about vinyl wrapping my hood sparkly red for fun haha
ill get pics of the cage oh and i got a damn turbo for free too lol also got a catch can comin in and k&n airfilter cuz i had money left over. gotta start the new year right.

lol no one is on but i promised id post updates so...

i sold the turbo, im picking up an vlsd as a daily diff in long beach still putting money aside for a 2way
i just recently rigged up a miata seat in my car cuz im selling my corbeau bucket seat to someone to fund the new bride seat foundation lol

today i installed the oil catch can and the air filter, went quick so i was sad so i decided to replace all the vac lines cuz i knew that would take some time. tomorrow i should get my headlight assembly and my gauges soo this weekend im doing the VLSD, the headlights and gauge mount. ill post pics when and commentary on how it went.

no it doesnt match, my valve cover is flat black but the strut bar does

yesterday i installed the headlights they are nice, ill post pics of it when i remember too. im deciding wether to vinyl wrap my hood or trunk or hell even both with red holographic vinyl i got lol we'll see.

i got more stuff yesterday as well, i picked up a montero oil cooler, does anyone know the banjo bolt thread size on it? i want to get this done next week so i can move on to the subframe bushings and some other suspension shit.

yes a miata seat hahaha its temp cuz i sold my corbeau seat for 120 bucks and i swaped my homies miata seat so i could have a seat while i wait for teh new 180sx seat i bought which i am stoked about. i finally got my gauges in soo ima make my bezel for my air duct this weekend and mount them and wait for the new harness's so i can hook em up.
