I almost blew ma engine tonight......

I've been in Huntsville ALL day left here around 6:30 Huntsville bound and just got home a few minutes ago.

I finaly got the see the Huntsville mall, I drove around on the parking deck for like 15 minutes then went in to find out they have a Hot Topic and Spencers with in 50 feet of each other now that made my day.

On ma way home, once I got into B'ham ma gas pedal and engine power started to feel kinda funny, so when I got in the drive way I poped the hood to find out that my coolent reservoir tank and radiator were empty and ma oil wasn't even reading on the dip stick...

awe you were fine dude, KA's can go for life with out coolant or oil. i drove my blown KA all the way home, never bogged out never anything. did you find out why there wasnt any coolant ?!

Last time I checked everything was last week, and EVERYTHING was full/filled.

So either I might have a bad seal some where and a hole in ma radiator...

hopefully its a hole in the rad so you can upgrade to a beefy one, like a koyo rad. 240sx motoring is haveing a good deal on em, i ordered mine on wednesday.

And wtf dude, you went to the H-ville mall? Which one?

I wish, dude I don't even have any money to run out tonight and get a couple QTs of oil and some 50/50...

I put it in to what little money I had into food and saved up gas money for ma 240 meet saturday.

On a side note, i drove my old hatch home (2 hours) with a blown KAe. head gasjet went, i floored it (max speed was 60 on a 65 mph highway) and nothing happend. until i drained all the fluids and drove it up and down the road til the bitch popped. fun times

im tellin ya they can take a lot of abuse and you can buy a whole new motor for dirt cheap and even find em free! i love KA's

Sound like a 240 to me.....the mysterious disappearing antifreeze.

I put some oil in it this morning and it turns out I was only 1 1/2 QTs low on oil, it just wasn't reading on the dip stick.

I saved all the coolent in a 3 liter bottle from my hatch when I pulled the engine, so I just put a coffee fillter in a funnle and filltered the rust globs out and pored it in to the convertable.

That's how you use coffee fillters with cars.

I used zipties on my jeeps bumper after I wrecked it in a ditch, powersiding/drifting on a gravle road.

i got mine off jimmyup.com in gold reflective.

Found out it might have been my termostat not opening and causing it to dump my coolant.

So we replaced it tonight and I'll get to test it out tomorrow...
